Opened in 2009 it is housed in a beautiful Neoclassical building located at a street corner at the end of Market Street. The cuisine is mainly Mediterranean and Greek and fresh ingredients from the island are used to prepare a variety of classic dishes that are served in elegant and spacious dining areas. Some of the specialty dishes include: Neoclassic (a fresh green salad); cheese and pastrami rolls with crisp pastry; chicken bites sauteed in beer and parmesan mix; chicken pasta cooked in wine with sage; pork scaloppini with a fig sauce served on creamy potatoes. The dessert menu of Franca Scala has, among the favorites, home-made cheesecake and hazelnut and mascarpone ice cream.
