The long sandy beach of Chrysi Akti is located about 25 km south-east of Parikia. It is one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean Sea for sports and especially windsurfing. This beautiful beach with golden sand (which gives its name) is more than 700 meters long and attracts thousands of tourists, many of whom have come to Paros just to visit this beautiful beach. The beach is well equipped and you can relax and enjoy the show of the surfers and the view of the islands in front of it: Prassonissi and Dryonissi.
