This is the nearest beach to Parikia, 700 meters from the port; divided into several parts: a fully organized one with deckchairs, umbrellas and watersports facilities and another wilder with shaded areas thanks to the trees that surround it. As Livadia Beach is located in the capital and is close to a camping, it is quite crowded.   • Monastiri

The Monastiri Beach of Paros is located at the end of the bay of Agios Ioannis on the opposite side of Naoussa, about 2 km from Kolymbithres. It ‘s a pretty little beach enclosed in a small bay surrounded by rocks, characterized by an extraordinarily deep and soft sand. If you look up to the right side of the beach, you can see a beautiful monastery, from which the name of the beach. The sea is clear, transparent and has shallow water until about 100 meters from the shore. Monastiri is easily accessible by road or simply with boats that depart daily from the port of Naoussa.

  • Kolymbithres

The Beach Kolymbithres is located on the opposite side of the Bay of Naoussa. It’s a wonderful beach enclosed by rock formations and formed by a series of small beaches of fine sand. The depths are shallow, clear waters, calm and clear, ideal for families with children. The beach is equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas and offers kiosks, bars, restaurants, rental points for small boats, surfboards, dinghies, canoes and water skiing. From the port of Naoussa daily boats depart every 10 minutes leading to this beach. (often very crowded in the summer) Lunch option: Kolymbithres Taverna.   • Piperi

A few hundred meters from the center of Naoussa and its port there is this small beach surrounded by rocks, great for those who do not want to get away from the fantastic setting of this quaint seaside village, enjoying the view while you swim. The beach is very well organized and you can enjoy also diving, snorkeling and fishing in the sea.

  • Santa Maria

Santa Maria Beach is located near Naoussa, in Plastira Bay, it is a long coastline divided into many golden sandy beaches with emerald waters, which offer a beautiful view on the island of Naxos. All small beaches that form Santa Maria Beach are completely organized with deck chairs, umbrellas, water sports facilities such as windsurfing, diving, etc. The beach of Santa Maria which gets very busy during the peak season of July and August, is accessible by bus or with frequent local fishing boats that leave from the port of Naoussa.

  • Molos

This small sandy beach is located near the village of Marmara (south-east of Parikia) and is one of the many beaches in the area. All these beaches are a real paradise, with clean and deep blue waters; fine, golden sand and a magnificent view of the island of Naxos. As they are all located near the main road (a few kilometers of distance) are always quiet and almost deserted during the months of July and August. You can reach them from the road through a path, there are no local bus services that connect them.

  • Pounda

Pounda beach is one of the most famous and crowded beaches of Paros. It is a fully organized beach located 2 km from Logaras (south-east of Parikia), has a large tourist complex comprising swimming pool, restaurants, coffee bars, shops, water sports facilities, etc. Most visitors go to Pounda for the many attractions: the endless parties and loud music.   • New Chrissi Akti ( New Golden Beach)

The beach of Nea Cryssi Akti, called “Tserdakia” by locals, is a long sandy beach that is located about 26 km south-east of Parikia and is loved for windsurfing. In the early days of August, when the winds are very strong in the area and around the Aegean Sea, it organizes the Professional Windsurfing World Cup, an event which was established in 1990; the best surfers from around the world come here to sail in a difficult sea with strong winds. The beach is well organized and offers facilities for sports and for those who want to relax in the sun.

  • Chrissi Akti Beach (Golden Beach)

The long sandy beach of Chrysi Akti is located about 25 km south-east of Parikia. It is one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean Sea for sports and especially windsurfing. This beautiful beach with golden sand (which gives its name) is more than 700 meters long and attracts thousands of tourists, many of whom have come to Paros just to visit this beautiful beach. The beach is well equipped and you can relax and enjoy the show of the surfers and the view of the islands in front of it: Prassonissi and Dryonissi. Lunch Option: Blue Restaurant Bar.   • Glyfa

The beautiful and small sandy beach of Glyfa is located about 18 km south-east of Parikia and about 5 km before Dryos. The beach is not organized and has no bars or other services. This beach is in an isolated area and can be reached via a dirt road that is not easy to find, and for which you should have precise instructions. This beach is very quiet and is ideal to relax in a peaceful place.
